Novosibirsk research on spatial aspects of bank system transformation is published in collected works of Edward Elgar Publishing

Edward Elgar Publishing (UK) released "Geofinance between Political and Financial Geographies".

This collection comprises results of research on changing borders between financial and political geography in European countries. Empirical research focused on financial peripheries that helps comprehend new prospects in conditions of globalized financial systems and national models of adaptation to local conditions as well as banking intermediation. The book contains conclusions from various branches of knowledge and this helps investigate links between geopolitical and geo-economic discourses, state finances and external policy, practice and localization of financial institutes as well as development of firms’ globalization strategies.

Some chapters consider specific relations for each country and financial resources available to firms and households.

The chapter concerning Russian Federation is written by senior staff scientist of Center of resource economics Cand. Sci. Economics S.D.
